I'm still too stupid to get it. How is Dean the yellow crayon and why is that a bad thing?
Just the premise that it's the power of love that will get Sam back from the dark side, and that Dean will be able to talk him through it, rather than a fight or a spell or something more manly and active.

But...but...I love that notion. And I loved Xander's yellow crayon speech. It might have been one of two times I cried in Buffy. I had no idea people hated that.
I love that notion
That is why we hide from so many people.
If brotherly love saves the world on Supernatural, well, FUCK YEAH. I'm also down with a big gunfight or other resolutions, but I don't think loving Sam is taking a back seat and losing agency.
And so freaking what if Sam has a big part in ending the whole thing. People need chilling.
I like that it's starting to look like Dean will be a free agent, with Lucifer!Sam and Michael!Adam. It gives them an opening, I think, for some unexpected shenanigans.
I wonder if Michael will end up being an opponent to Operation Recage Lucifer.
Of course, if Dean does end up killing Sam, then he's just doing what Daddy told him to, so it would be right and proper.
I wonder if Jake Abel can properly pull off Michael?

SHUT UP. Dean's job is to love Sam enough that the world doesn't end. Daddy don't know shit.
Okay, both my immediate comments involve Bobby, and how awesome Crowley is for sweetening Bobby's deal.
My suspicion is that the sweetening of the deal is to make Bobby not be particularly eager to take his soul back.
What if Dean in a fit of misguided desire to save Adam, applies Sam's idea of taking control, and let's Michael body swap?
I can totally see show engineering both boys as vessels still.
Man, if there weren't a season 6, I'd be freaking right out now.
You sure they're not lying to us, or only one of them is coming back or something?
Why would Crowley sweeten the deal? Ensure his survival? Thanks for the tongue? You can never truly trust a Mark Shepard character.

I hope he doesn't, as much as I want to see JA play Michael. I'd like Dean to be past that.
