Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Hee, that's what Sam wanted to know.

I didn't even see the sign for Serenity Valley. Excellent catch.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I loved that Dean said "Nana." I figured he didn't get much chance for that.

Dean can know Eunice Kennedy! Of course, I'm just guessing about who she is, but I figure I'm right.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dean knows all kinds of random things. Also, she was in the news last year for dying and all.

Sam's hair looked really good. Dean looked really pretty. Mark Sheppard remains awesome. And I agree with Death about the pizza.

So, is the reason Sam's been fed demon blood this whole time is to make him all cosy for Lucifer and it wasn't only about the major mojo? Or is that just another downside to him assuming the meatsuit role?

Not that I'd have thought that needed more downsides--he's kinda stuck FOREVER unless I'm missing something.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Serenity Valley nursing home? How has nobody remarked on that?

Over here we worried it was a portent and were much relieved when it wasn't. There was mutual shouting of "woo yeah!" when Cas came through in the clinch.

We also noticed that Death was once an undertaker on "Slings and Arrows"

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I love that Dean reaches for his crotch when Pestilence says "syphillis".

But what I really truly love is Castiel's sigh and heavenward glance when Dean finishes "...human."

And Bobby, while I don't think losing the use of your legs equates to an angel losing every other part of him, I appreciate you smacking him verbally upside the head.

TWoP is cracking my shit up (or is that nervous laughter?). I'm in the character threads. It's frightening.

I haven't been back there in a while. I'm scared. What are they doing?

I just woke up to fanfic in my head. It was the line "Sam realised he wasn't losing Dean, just saving him." Well, maybe not fanfic. Maybe just explanation for how he's thinking right now.

Dean apparently has been stripped of all agency and purpose and gutted and made useless. It's all "Sam Sam Sam!" Also, apparently, Dean never having been possessed is a sign of disrespect. Also, he's the yellow crayon. The show is over and there's no point in watching the finale next week, because it's obvious that Dean will have absolutely no role to play in ending the apocalypse.

And this is all in the Jensen thread.

Oh, for fuck's sake.

Now, Heaven said that Dean would be the one to end it. Did they mean that as a way to get Michael into him, or does he have a task to pull off?

If that's yellow crayon, I'm totally okay. Sam pulled Dean's head out of his ass a few episodes ago and saved more than a few lives. But if it was a trufax prediction, I would have expected more for him to do.

That's the only reason I'm wrinkling my nose. Both boys don't have to have their hand on the trigger. They can trade off on doing big things.

Complaining here's too much Sam...they need to tot up screen time and self-derisive speeches. They really should watch Fringe instead next week and save themselves the pain.

And while I'm thinking of Sam and the screentime, how hot was he in that warehouse? And why does he have Dean's gun?

Hey, do you think the amulet will come back, or are we done with that phase?
