I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Oh, readability is fantastic! Thank you, Amy.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

If you use Firefox, turn you styles off by choosing View PageStyle NoStyle. Most browsers can do the same with slightly different commands.

Massive X-post, and yeah readability is even better.

Art Crawl!!!

Baseball (I think . . .some damned sport) is screwing up my Thursday evening horrory goodness: VD is delayed 'til 10:30 Central and SPN 'til 11:30. That's if the game doesn't go long.

I like readability because I don't have to remember to turn styles back on when I'm done with a given site. But thanks for walking me through how to do so.

I'm sorry, sumi.

Because books.

Ailleann introduced me to Readability and it's one of the many, many reasons I love her.

If I had to screw with styles in Firefox, it ... would not be good.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Sorry sumi. That's crazy troll logic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, that archi-whatever fic is scorching hot. And puts me right in mind of a hardcore Point of No Return. Damn. Scorching. All that, and Dean takes the time to mention that Sam is the most important thing to him. I am filled with the love.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

[link] has been interesting but is a terrible interface. You have to keep hitting refresh and it's hard to follow the guest twitterer. I'm confident Misha will do his best.

Cereal:

It seems to be much easier to just follow Misha on the official twitter site. 9-10pm during the EST airing of SHOW.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Guys, I love you each and every one, and I will stand and defend your right to love any character or any pairing you like. The sad truth is, I am personally so anti-D/C it makes me shudder. There's no good reason for it, I can't explain it, it's not hot for me, it's just wrong.

But that's my personal squick. I hate there's terrific fic I can't read, but I'm loving y'all loving it.

'Suela left the thread, as have some other people, and I think they put a moratorium on watching the rest of the season or simply stopped watching because they were so continually incensed by the way women characters are treated. I do think SPN has gotten a bad reputation, and at this point, unless they cast only women and don't kill anybody off but white men, SPN can't ever redeem itself in some people's eyes. That's a point, I think, where it's probably wise to walk away. Continuing to watch in hope things will fall more in line with one's personal wishes is a sure way to continuing frustration and resentment. IMO, of course.
