any time Castiel touches his chest now, he will banish himself?
If he's bleeding, maybe. But normally he can banish without disappearing himself. So this is new juju.
I've seen speculation that he's dead and Adam's not. I'm kinda hoping the converse.
NEITHER OF THEM ARE DEAD.
Ahem.
I'm not sure how the show can make Jake coming back work, except maybe as Michael's temp vessel. I can see how that might drive Dean to change his mind and say yes.
Castiel's totally not dead. I have no investment in Adam, but Castiel goes nowhere this early in the season. Dammit, not after his brilliance in the episode.
I need to say again, I loved Sam this week. He was just so grown up and sensible.
I'm not a fan of Wincest and I didn't see it in the context of the show last night. On the other hand Dean/Castiel was pretty loud.
I'm not really invested in Adam as a character, but I do love the possibilities he represents in terms of how Dean and Sam could save the world.
I still want to see if Jessie (superkid! antichrist!) plays into this, because that was a serious smoking gun.
I don't think Castiel can be dead, just because it happened so quickly that he didn't get much of a send off, and I don't think the show runners would do that to either Misha or the fan girls.
I don't think Castiel is dead. I just think he went where angels go when you activate the sigil.
I agree, Perkins. And I don't think simply because his body was where the sigil happened to be would kill him.
It would be nice if they explained where exactly angels go when they get zapped like that, though. Also, HOT plan. And Cas telling them to bring it?
::happy shiver::
I think those who are speculating on Jessie have hit the key as to how Dean & Sam win. They are going to go all Good Omens (Crowley was a hint). Jessie will choose humanity over heaven and hell. Don't know how that fixes things, but the writers can invent a prophecy or something, I mean sense making has never been a Show priority.
