If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guess the big hurdle with any sort of law enforcement crossover is to keep the boys from getting arrested. The CM/SPN I'm in the middle of reading right now, they just haven't gotten around to the last name stage. A few of the others have Dean already arrested.

Also, I've noticed (again, this doesn't include Wincest, so I don't know how they roll), Dean is more gay than Sam. He gets it on with boys as a teenager, and Sam seems to only experiment in university. And I've only bumped into Sam hustling men once. I guess that's in line with Dean having the appetite. Apart from recently, natch.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I don't think I would have to work very hard to construct a Fringe/SPN crossover.

And now I want to, real bad. Damn it.

And for some reason, I think it would be easier to keep them out of prison in this one.

Keen!

Great. Now I'm hungering for something else.

Because books.

What is the BAU?

I've read some fic where young Sam (pre-Stanford) experimented with boys a little bit. The college stuff either reads like he's had a secret crush on Dean the whole time or it's sensitive!Sam who's open to everything. Did you ever read the one where Sam sleeps with all of Stanford, more or less?

I've read a lot of fic where Dean has never had any experience with men, or his experience comes from hustling, but there's plenty of fic out there where Dean is sort of pansexual and, to be blunt, just plain easy.

It's the Behavioural Analysis Unit, the team that's on Criminal Minds.

That I've seen very little of. I agree with your assessment of a lot of the Stanford stuff, and if I'm remembering the slut!Sam one, does he also do a strip tease in a later installment? I can't think of it and not tremble with laughter.

My impression of numbers comes from AO3 where there are more Dean/OMC than Sam/OMC, and of course half a million Dean/Castiels. A much smaller amount of Sam/Castiel and a surprising (but still smaller) amount of Sam/Gabriel. In the D/Cs (AO3 and beyond) there are more man first times for Dean than I'd have expected. But I guess the idea of making Castiel his first guy is narratively attractive.

When I was first starting to consume I bumped into a lot of hustler!Dean stories, but not so many recently. I'm surprised there's not even a tag for that on AO3, since it seems so obvious. Hell, JA even mentioned it, didn't he?

Great. Now I need a Torchwood/SPN crossover with Captain Jack and Dean getting it on. Dammit.

Yes, later he strips. It's pretty amusing. Oh, and I think most of the fic I've read with Sam experimenting with boys in high school is the 'cesty kind. ::shifty eyes::

There's a Dean/Ronon out there by poisontaster, which I imagine is pretty yummy. That's Stargate, right? I never watched, but I did like to picture them together because Ronon is beautiful.

I'm still not sure JA meant sexual hustling instead of more elaborate cons, but points for him if he did. I don't remember seeing a lot of stories just about him hustling, though -- it seems to be a background element in other fic, and there for a reason.

I still want Dean/Jax from Sons of Anarchy. I figure I'm going to have to write that one myself.

Well, that goes a long way to explaining my blank spot.

You know, I bumped into that yesterday. Didn't read it, though. It was a threesome with a Friday Night Lights character too. It was on AO3, if memory serves. I can try look it up again when I get home.

Do you have a link to the famed interview?

That's Stargate, right?

Yeah, Stargate: Atlantis. They would be very pretty together. And kick ass.

See now, that's just silly.

Although there was a hot fic with Dean and Tim way back. I bet Perkins has it bookmarked.

I don't have a link that that interview. I just vaguely remember it. He might have meant that. I just ... wasn't sure he would really go there. And if I recall correctly, it was sort of a throwaway reference to hustling in general.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ita, have you read the Ben stories, by innie_darling? [link] (that is the start, but there are links at the bottom of each page, or you can get the Ben and Dean parts here: [link]

Probably--let me look. Yep: [link]

I also have a crossover tag on Delicious--it's not all SPN, but most are: [link]

I found the interview, and yeah, it's nekkid hustling.

And who knows? Dean's a promiscuous kind of guy. Who knows how he drums up the funds they use?

Perkins, I have read the Ben stories, and they just kill me. Which they shouldn't because happy for Ben and Dean, but I am mostly preoccupied with Sam's revelation, and his reaction to it, and poor guy...
