Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Colin was explaining to me that it's not simple to get your character's clothes. But JP has more pull, so maybe it's easy for him.

Still, there are ways.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Maybe they don't like him taking the sheriff stuff because it is harder to replace? Although there has to be uniform places that could be harvested. I mean I can understand to a degree why they would want to keep some stuff in case there was a reshoot or a retcon flashback? Maybe they just want to be able to sell the stuff on ebay. The boys would be easier to outfit.

Because books.

I saw "Colin" and immediately thought young!Sam, which made me remember that any more childhood flashbacks with him better happen soon. He's getting bigger!

Colin Young!Sam was such a cutiehead in this last ep. I keep seeing him dancing for joy in the fireworks. Mostly because I replay the episode. But even so, it was a thing of pure happiness. Loved it.

He didn't mean sheriff stuff (if he wants that, I don't think I want to know about it, really), just general clothing. Even for movie shoots when there aren't going to be reshoots it can be difficult to get them to give you your character's stuff. However, if you marry a director, you can snag some goodies.

I'd have to really want the dress.

Or a movie. He's the One True Young!Sam.

It just occurred to me during my last meeting (because of my doodling, and the warring doodling happening across the table) that Sam Wesson is a much better artist than Sam Winchester. Sam was kinda crap at drawing in Bedtime Stories. But Wesson's vamps in It's A Terrible Life were pretty good.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

OTOH, the tree he kept drawing at the beginning of Home was pretty darned good.

Because books.

Since I'm being incredibly self-indulgent, I made up a lyrics quiz using only songs that remind me of Winchesters. Play if you want!

Did y'all see the YouTube vid of LA Con where someone asked the JJs which songs they thought of as associated with the show?

Jared was first with Renegade, several others were listed, and Jensen finished up with Back in Black. Curiously, nobody mentioned Carry On.

ETA: The first stanza lines of Knockin' on Heaven's Door have just been haunting me since last week.

"Take this badge offa me". I'm done with trying to save people. I'm finished. I quit. It's not my job anymore.

"Mama put my guns in the ground. I can't use them anymore." Again, I'm done. Nothing I do makes a difference, and I'm not long for this world.

I don't know. It's not as dramatic, but the lyrics may have superceded Renegade for me as pointed and pertinent.
