Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Three times, escalating to the worst night of his life. The righteous man hath been denied three times before morning.
The black handyman, OTOH, Joshua (Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshua; Greek: Ἰησοῦς, same as Jesus) had some very good advice to "transmit" And the authority to send Zach's people packing.
I am NEVER getting this Last Supper earworm out of my head.
Wonder if I have the Murray Head version this machine...
did we cover that Sam (through his memories) did the thrice denial of Dean?
Are you referring to him running away for 2 weeks in Arizona where he had the happy dog to keep him company? And then the time he left for college -- which was a refutation of John, not of Dean? What was the third time? Thanksgiving was just a meal with another family, how was that a denial of Dean? He wasn't even allowed to eat with another family without Dean resenting it? Or I suppose I'm being too literal and Dean is just viewing any of Sam's memories that aren't all about him as a betrayal.
Hi. I intend to be hanging out in the greenhouse with Joshua until the season ends. I'll...pass him the secaturs, and mist the orchids, or something.
Each of Sam's memories were of being specifically apart from his family, in increasing order of pain.
Putting him, for the symbolic purposes of our Gethsemane RPG, in the Peter role.
(Note: this interpretation does make me narrow my eyes a bit at Pamela's kiss, happening as it does right before they're captured and Dean's tortured by Pilate. I mean, Zachariah.)
I intend to be hanging out in the greenhouse with Joshua until the season ends.
Well the greenhouse was pretty and Joshua seemed almost genuinely regretful at not being able to do more.
Do you think we'll get to see the guys meet up with the hunters who shot them?
BWAH! "Already Canceled."
That's a lovely picture of Jensen, Bev.
I went to sleep last night with many thinky thoughts about the boys in my head. This episode blew me away. BOYS.
God doesn't care, God's staying out of it.
God resurrected them
again.
IJS. He's totally playing favourites, even though he's not fixing the whole thing.
I'm rooting for Sam right now. I think he's in the closest to a healthy place. Looks from the promo that the boys are still travelling together, so that's at least something. But I think either the key to the victory or the key to the psychological reunion or, heaven forbid, the key to the emotional growth and
no
reunion (don't kill the codependency, Kripke!) will come from his corner.
I think he's in the closest to a healthy place.
Oh, I agree. Sam's gotta save everyone this time, Dean included.
Anyone notice the green light when Sam and Dean got to "the garden"? Totally a "meeting the wizard" moment, although even the wizard was not as mean as Zachariah made Mary be. And boy, she played nasty much better than I would have expected.
I'm sitting here eating my bagel trying to decide which moment hurt worst last night. It's a hard thing.
