Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I got teary from you talking about it Bev.

Also, (I don't know why I am stuck on the promo) but when JP says "Who told you that?", the look and the delivery are his top shelf stuff. That would never have been Rory's Dean.

Oh JP, you are doing so well, right before our eyes.

eta: I didn't know that JDM was from Seattle. I don't know why my mind was placing him from Kentucky, which is random I know, but that is where my head put him. Seattle. huh.

Well, you know the guy that was "Trip" in Enterprise was supposed to be Florida but did a Oklahoma/Texas accent very convincingly instead. And wasn't he from the Northeast also? I have to go look up some names and bios in imdb.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

It's funny but now I am examining my own speech. From South Central Kansas born and raised with influences from Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas/Missouri, I have lived out of state in NY, and Austin. I don't say "bidness" for business but I do say "bizness". Oil is "all". Tougher than boiled owl is "tuffern balled Al." But really on an everyday basis I think I keep my twang in check. I don't sound like Paula Dean.

Theresa - JDM's character from Grey's Anatomy was from Kentucky.

ETA: And I recall him saying that his mother was from Texas so maybe that's why he can do that voice so well.

D'oh...then that is it. JDM is really Denny to me. :)

Next week may settle the issue, but I'm not entirely convinced that the Heaven Michael, Zachariah, etc. inhabit is also the benevolent afterlife that human beings experience. At least I'd hope not... in the long run a Heaven being run by the likes of Zachariah would just be Hell with a prettier coat of paint.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

JDM is really Denny to me. :)

BURN HER! BURN HER!

Tangentially, I love how on ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com they call JDM Sir. They're such SPN fan(boy/girl)s.

He does seem incompatible with eternal happiness. But maybe he does travelling work and it's nicer guys that stay near to home and tend the happy souls.

Redmond, really. Which, when he was growing up, was less of a traffic clusterfuck posh place than it is now.

Hell, when he was growing up, there was still a chicken farm at 1 Microsoft Way.

BURN HER! BURN HER!

I only saw preDeath Denny and I cried and cried for him. I guess I did see him show up once for Meredith along with Sexy Blowed Up Guy (Coach Taylor). But that may have been the last episode that I have seen of GA, so I don't know what happened to the character as I heard he came back as a ghost/tumor thingy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Denny showing up was the beginning of the end of the good bits of GA, and him showing up after he died was the peak of the bad bits. Just, ick. So no good memories for me there, despite a love of JDM.

Yeah, I still watch though. Kevin McKidd. 'Nuff said. It's gotten a lot better.
