Must be that RDJ is the only one that James didn't think looked like a douche posing sexy. Except there's that Ian Somerholder(?) shot...
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Does Ian Somerhalder ever not look like a douche, though? He always seems to be prissing it up for the camera.
I'd also toss Sam Worthington off the list, unless I were drunk and and in a mood.
RDJ made me weak in the knees. I should look again, though, since I was scrolling quick to find Misha and Jensen.
On rewatch, I think Castiel is a little more badass in these two episodes than he is later. Which is fine with me. "You should show me some respect" and Dean's lowered eyes and swallowing was made of win.
W&Ping inthread is kinda awkward for the West Coast because we have to unsubscribe while the East and middle bits of the country watch. Or just get totally spoiled. So it's not really that we don't want you to see our reactions, it's just logistical.
The genderfails for me were twofold: oversexualising female victims, and caving to fangirl aversion to regular female characters. But neither, obviously, enough to overcome my love for the show. And the women I like, I like a lot. Ellen and Mary and Pamela and Missouri rock. Meg, as played by Nikki Aycox was pretty cool too. Ruby, as played by Katie Cassidy, I kinda liked. But Ruby in general makes me all overprotective of Sam, so it's hard for me to appreciate her with any sort of sanity.
ita absolutely can speak for me on SPN and women from now on. Because this is precisely how I feel.
Okay, unsub time now.

I miss Castiel's badassness. I enjoy snickering at him along with everyone else, but as a character I think the sense of awe and otherness we received from him at the beginning would have brought more depth to the show than the occasional cheap laugh at his expense.
I still feel the sense of other about Castiel, since that's where the laughs come from, but I guess they couldn't have the power walking around on the boys' side the whole time. Still, every time he raises his hand of power or chants Enochian it makes me weak.
It makes a lot of sense for him not to make it to season 6, either because he dies or is reassumed to heaven. It also makes sense for him to be depowered and left on Earth.
But it would be really nice if somehow, especially if the God search pays off somehow, we get at least a glimpse of repowered up Castiel on Earth, on Team Free Will.
::hovering over unsubscribe::
Unsubbing for the nonce. See you all later.
:waves to the unsubbers: Come back soon, we love you!
Almost Show!!
Expecting Buffy to come springing through any moment...
They did that in Carrie too and it always brings me out of the moment. Did they do that before Carrie?
Also, this guy has something on his crotch. Just noticed when he adjusted in front of the tv.
