I don't think JP has ever played double *Sam*, although he has done possessed ... twice? By Meg and then by Lucifer.

Sam did "meet" his younger self when he was detoxing.

Suzi, I meant to say, you should get a toaster, too. I got three, since S., Ben, and Sara are *all* hopelessly addicted now. S. watched with me in the beginning because ... well, he's a nice guy and generally lets me have the remote unless baseball is on, but by S3 he was hooked. We actually discuss it at home, and Sara actually wrote a Sam and Dean "story" about them in a haunted house in San Francisco a few weeks ago.

I don't let her watch the really gory parts, btw. Don't sic child services on me, please.

There is a pic in those imdb pics of him wearing a rust colored t shirt where it looks very 1970s and Young John. I can totally see why he made the Best Of.

I wonder if the writers know that JA can really handle -- hell, probably embrace -- the challenge.

I just love how much Sara is reading, ita. But I will say it's made me a hell of lot more careful about what I leave on the computer screen when I walk away from it. Ahem.
