Because books.

Cage matches takes me to a very naughty place, I have to say.

Not that I mind, of course.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They take me to a Monty Cora place.

I have no complaints at all.

If I was forced to pick my absolute favourite from each season, maybe I could. But that's not the same pain as top 5 period.

Let me see....

  • Devil's Trap
  • What Is and What Never Should Be (okay, that was painful)
  • A Very Supernatural Christmas
  • not making my mind up before rewatching
  • so far, The End (okay, that kinda hurt too)

::is lightheaded again::

ita lives dangerously, dude.

I think I would wind up picking one from each season out of some weird sense of fairness. Or maybe not. I don't know!

This list-making is a really good way to procrastinate, though. Like, favorite demons/monsters. Favorite funny episodes. Favorite secondary characters. Favorite pop culture shout-outs.

I can tell, once the book is done, I'm going to go on a total SPN bender, fic, lists, pictures, gossip, everything.

CJ and I just went on a romp through all the special features for Seasons 1-4 (though we skipped the extended/deleted scenes). I'm disappointed that the boys only comment on one episode. But I love Kripke and all his pop references.

With the rewatching we have been doing, I can't narrow down a list. Like Amy, there are too many little scenes that make me not want to cut an episode that is overall meh. The pain, the funny, the plot points...there is always something.

Also, grossest moments. I can't wait for you to cut loose.

One episode, period? Damn. That's Phantom Traveler, right?

In theory I would love to ask for fic recs, but I don't know what I like. I know in theory what I like, but I don't think it exists in quantity: good Dean/Castiel. With Castiel, you know, in character. And Sam not cut out of the story. However I end up consuming massive quantities of h/c and an incredible amount of Wee!Chester and kidfic (including regression). I can't help myself.

Because books.

Oh, I read a really good Dean/Castiel with Sam very much part of the story just recently, but I can't remember if I delicioused it. Shit. I absolutely can't look right now, because I have wasted too much of today already and am turning into a big cranky stressball with panic!sauce on top.

I will find it later, though. I hope. I also know some good gen you might like. Also, ask Plei!

Hey, here it is! It's actually not Dean/Castiel, though. But it's an excellent story. Link is to the first of two parts.

I am loving all the list talk. I'm not entirely sure why it appeals but it does.

I guess being able to obsess reflect on my love for the show.

Thanks for taking the time to look that up, Amy. I checked out the start, got as far as Dean Winchester. He Saved The World. A Lot. and now I know I have to read that on my lunch break. Ouchies.

Reflection is totally healthy, ehab. That's what I'm calling it, and that's what I'm telling myself.
