the moment where John whispers to Dean is some of my favourite JA work. I love his reactions.

I *still* want to ask JA what Manners told them--what John was supposedly whispering to get that reaction--and the one from JDM when he backed off with tears, nodded, and left.

What, what, what? Sam is secretly dying of a dread disease? JP ate all the gummi bears? JDM would never speak another line and appear in the same episode again (because he appeared in AHBL2 and spoke offscreen in the Long Distance Calling ep)? JA's contract was cancelled? What?

I don't think I want to know. It works better for me believing it's John telling Dean about Sam possibly going darkside. I don't like the fourth wall broken with important dramatic stuff.

I'm torn about wanting to know what happens in whispering moments. I do want to know if they script something to whisper or not--and sometimes I find I really don't care. There was a big deal whisper between Gibbs and Ziva this season and I really couldn't care less about what went between lips and ear.

That whisper? I'm just so enamoured of the reaction that I'm curious about where he pulled it from. Maybe JDM said nothing at all.

Y'all made me watch the commentary for that episode and they only talk about Jensen's reaction, not what was whispered. I'm currently listening to the commentary for All Hell Breaks Loose I. Today has become SPN Special Features day.

Our home theatre unit is in the shop--the door went wacky on us. We ran the PS3 through the theatre speakers and now we can't figure out how to reroute--so basically we have kickass picture and no sound. DVDs are out till we get the unit back, so any dvding I'll be doing on the laptop. We rewatched all the extended versions of LoTR over the weekend--now there are some extras I'd like to watch again--so no/few special features for me, until I have sound again.

Oh, for AHBL2 commentary, you get Kim cursing the weather, the ground, the cemetary, the script EK wanted filmed (you got five hours of air time paid for?), and life on location in general, until they decided to move the cemetary indoors and control stuff better. It's funny.

I would pay someone cash money for the ability to excise "Carry On My Wayward Son" at will. It is now my default earworm, and I know, like two lines.

I could send it to you. That way you would know more.

I'm not sure that would help or harm.

But I'm willing to find out!

Just finished up today's ep. Dean in a tux--love. "Don't objectify me" and "angry sex" indeed. Charming bits, even if I wasn't in love with the whole thing. And I do wish Dean was warier of Bela by this point. She's already shot Sam.
