I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I think Matt has it, why JP will probably have a higher-profile career. I see JA still in tv, mostly, while Jared will probably be tapped for more movies. It's unfair, but thems the realities of H'wood.

Because books.

Also, while I find JA the more attractive of the two his looks are of the generic WB hunk/Calvin Klein model sort, whereas JP has distinctive features and is extreeeemely tall. I can definitely see that helping separate him from the crowd for casting directors.

But don't you think that limits him a little bit? In terms of standard-issue romantic leads, I think it might, but I could be wrong.

I still have trouble looking at Charlie and not seeing Heath-alike. Hot, yes. But I still have to look a him aslant, a bit.

That hadn't occurred to me, Bev! Until now anyway. And yeah, I'm not sure where anyone is discussing SoA. I need to catch up -- we missed some of S1.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

i just wish Jax would wash his hair a little more often.

Must be doing a Christian Kane impression, who would have been a perfect fannish guest star on SPN. I can still hope.

that Thomas Kinkade biopic abomination

This is just as easy to remember as The Christmas Cottage and much more informative so from here on, this will be the title of the movie for me.

I think you are right Matt about JP's distinctiveness being an advantage. Also I think JA really needs to listen to ita's advice of being in a sitcom. I don't see this as the type of thing he would audition for in the past, but he has proven to be really capable of comedy with this series and it would be fun to see him in that medium. Also I hear the hours and location are much more conducive to family life if that would appeal to him. Quick someone email his agent.

Distinctive used to equal getting character work. Rock Hudson was fairly tall though wasn't he? I seem to remember him towering over his leading ladies. And JP has proven he can sell the love scene. Rawr.

But I think his height could hurt him in some situations. Someone I was watching the other day....oh Gary Sinese...stood next to their female costar and I realized how short he was. This is a disturbing thing to discover as it doesn't sit well with my tallness kink at all. However the one good thing about seeing JA on other things is getting him away from the one costar in the world who makes him look short.

Yes, this.

I think right now, as gorgeous as JP is to me, he looks very "action star". Still gangly and yet heavily muscled. I can't see him playing a husband or a dad, say.

Welling did. And OMG, I just had a vision of how the world would be had JA won that audition instead, and had been in Smallville hell for the last decade. Not. pretty.

I do think, idly, once in a while, of the SPN that would have been had they cast JA as Sam, as was the plan, and cast, oh say, CK as Dean. Now that's a pretty picture.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I am not into westerns. I promise. But I cannot let go of this obsession with seeing JDM, JA and JP as cowboys. I want it to be a movie instead of a series so Jim Beaver might as well make an appearance. He knows the score from Deadwood. JA as a cowboy dad. I'd have it on a continuous loop in my house.

That would have been pretty. Yes, Welling is another tall pretty man. He may be in my western as well.

Heath? Ledger? Cause I'm gonna have all kinds of problems watching if this is the case. Totally irrational pain and yet it is still there.

Oh, Austin Theresa. The sister of my heart.

Loves Amy. Wait, do you also think that Lisa lied and that Ben is really Dean's son? Cause that would cinch it.

Before Jump the Shark, I had nearly convinced myself Ben was John's, actually.
