"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Oh thank you for that Bev. I may have a permanent smile on my face. Dooood. Between that and little Sam watching the show because that is "him", my face is going to freeze this way!

Because books.

Aw, Bev comes through with the con clips! I love to watch them together out of character. It's so nice to see that chemistry (and I actually don't mean anything porny by that).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Filming far away from home is so hard. And with just the two of them in the regular cast, I am chuffed to see that they get along so easily.

Exactly! Can you imagine if they hadn't hit it off? Although I think maybe the show wouldn't have done as well, if that had been the case.

I think you guys are right. That would have been too long to sustain dislike and turn out that kind of quality. Unless you are The Eagles.

Didn't Jensen say in an earlier con or interview that he didn't have that great of a relationship with Jessica Alba while making Dark Angel, but after being one of the leads of the show on SPN, he got where she was coming from back then and they made up? Don't quote me because I may have dreamed that but I'm pretty sure I saw it after season one was over.

I read that they hadn't gotten along and that they'd made up after SPN started, but I don't know the terms.

I know that from talking to Colin heading a Vancouver gig is no mean feat. Making good connections can save your sanity. They look like they have a great one.

I can't see the epic love story of Sam and Dean playing out without a great rapport between the characters. Not for this long, with so much time just being the two of them.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've never heard that they didn't get along at first.

interesting

No, I think she meant JA and Jessica Alba.

I meant that Jensen and Jessica hadn't got along, not Jensen and Jared. I seem to recall her apologising to him, actually. But I can't imagine the stress. That job is brutal.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

There's an apocryphal story about the relationship between Alba and Weatherly in place from S1. They were a couple, and she was a producer. When JA was brought on as a new love interest for Max, Weatherly fought bitterly to keep Logan from being sidelined. It was really an uphill battle for JA. There was anecdotal evidence that Weatherly got advance copies of the scripts and actually counted lines to make sure Alec didn't have more lines than Logan. Alba was very young at the time and Weatherly was very ambitious. It was not a happy set for somebody who just wanted to do the best job he could do, and expected to be liked for being a good guy.
