I see people at TWOP bitching that she likes Sam too much
Yeah, someone on my flist was complaining about that too. Oh no, more Sam, what a tragedy.
A reason that it might not continue after season 6 is that the J's are only contracted for 6 seasons.
Yeah, but, truckloads of money!
Oh no, more Sam, what a tragedy.
Maybe the problem is that she likes nekkid Sam. Because that's always a negative.
Yeah, who would want nekkid Sam?
Scifiwire's SPN story includes a video tour of backstage conducted by Jim Beaver - so SPOILERY. . . for the EXTREMELY spoilerphobic who don't watch promos. But fun for the rest of us.
Alice Jester on the Kripke story.
I had forgotten that Dean was going to sit down and die with Sam in Croatoan. God, that boy. I am such a sucker for their dynamic.
Oh yeah. And the way he's just brooking no argument, and Sam gets furious and slams his cast ... BOYS.
The end of Hunted is well worth it for that dynamic, too.
And Sam cries all messily and stuff...yeah, it was glorious. Definite rewatch material. I sense I'm going to own the DVDs before too long.
I got 15 minutes into Hunted this morning. Can't wait to wrap it up.
I am watching Croatoan now!
AIFG

Oh yeah, that whole "I can't go on living in this world without you" dynamic was established early on. The two of them take turns proving that they'll go to superhuman lengths and be willing to sacrifice themselves over and over so as not to be alone.
Ah, Nightshifter! Ronald Reznick's death saddened me as much as any guest star's. And the sense of doom the episode brought on. Marvellous.
And Playthings yesterday--I think JP didn't play the drunk scene quite right, but I really like what they were going for. And I can see where a legion of Wincest fics sprung up.
The two of them take turns proving that they'll go to superhuman lengths and be willing to sacrifice themselves over and over so as not to be alone.
And I can't get enough of it.
I read that Sera Gamble described the series as "the epic love story of Sam and Dean." In a totally non-sexual way, that''s what I've signed on for.
