Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Art Crawl!!!

I think so too - apparently, they sent screeners out for this episode and reviews have been good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm pretty clearly a Dean girl, but there's no good Dean without Sam in my world. I totally don't get the divisions that I saw when I was trolling for anything-just-anything to read.

I loved how, at TWOP, they had to close down the Sam thread and the Dean thread because people were getting too crazy. Hell, I love that they have a Sam thread and a Dean thread.

I'm a Dean girl because he's the one I'd be attracted to in real life. I love Sam too. If I honestly disliked one of them I'd have a hard time watching the show, since their twisty relationship is so much of the draw for me.

Because books.

Mostly, this is me, too. And yet Sam has his appeal, too. I've decided I'm bi-brotheral.

And their twisty relationship is exactly why I watch, as well.

Kneel before Glod. ~Stephen Colbert

I have a Sam preference, but I absolutely love both boys. Cannot see how anyone can enjoy the show and hate half of the main characters.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Bi-bro, all the way.

I was initially attracted to Dean, and just wanted to slap Sam for being a whiny brat. That changed in Wendigo, and really, really changed in Faith. By IMTOD, I was almost completely bi-bro. Still am, and expect to continue to be.

I occasionally want to slap sense into one or the other or both of them, but in a totally affectionate way.

I adore Sam. He's just not as sexy as Dean. Dean was pretty much written for me. It's not healthy, but it's true. The smart-assed guy who doesn't have relationships that last more than two months? Yeah, that's the one.

This is me, but with the completely cliched fantasy that *I* would be the one he would fall for.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Cannot see how anyone can enjoy the show and hate half of the main characters.

I think that the people who hate one of the brothers (such as the people who write fanfic, and then put in the author's notes 'I don't own them - if I did Sam would still be dead and Dean and Castiel would be travelling together') obviously don't understand the bond between the two of them. A big part of what defines Dean is his love for Sam, and vice versa (as evidenced by their kind of unhealthy unwillingness to keep sacrificing their lives for each other). They need each other, and Show needs both of them.

Eta: to Amy

Yeah, not with me. My long term pattern is very short term. But for Dean I'd totally hook up again when he came back through town. I'd like to be that sort of special.

to Morgana: yeah, they just wouldn't be as interesting without each other. Even in absentia they drive each other. Neither one can be excised or replaced.
