Because books.

Hey, every demon's gotta do her part ...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The second half of Devil's Trap was a delight. Sadly not enough Sebastian Spence, but there never is.

Still, the pain train! There's a solid onslaught of torture and angst, topped off by smashing the Metallicar. The Impala! I am vague on many of reactions to S1 the first time round, but not that HSQ. Damn.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

And we had to wait a whole summer to find out who survived, if anybody did! And we didn't even know if the show had been picked up for the next season! Uphill, both ways!

Syndication and hindsight are so much better. Kripke was an asshole.

Because books.

That crash was so spectacular and shocking. Excellent, evil cliffhanger.

And today should be one of my favorites -- family angst, Dean barefoot and in scrub pants, and determined!Sammy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dean barefoot and in scrub pants,

and walking away from the camera

What?

He's barefoot in the hospital! I can't get over that. It's a major ick of mine.

Still, I will look for screencaps.

These boys are so lucky they don't scar.

Because books.

Dean looks so un-Dean-like in the t-shirt. Very vulnerable and young. A lot of the Dean he presents to the world is in his leather armor and layers, I think.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that the barefeet add to the vulnerability.
