I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I usually catch it in the following am before I go to work while "channel surfing", Sail. But that particular site is really infected with malware and viruses these days. Which reminds me that I need to renew my subscriptions soon.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I keep thinking about how much rope Dean was willing to give not!Sam, and it's sort of heartbreaking.

I was getting all prepared to be annoyed by the anvilicious "you're a good man, Dean, no really you are" scene, but I think it was undercut since the line came from someone who planned to kill him later.

Mind you, I think they had Dean play a little dumber than is plausible

OTOH, I do think that they at least showed he picked up on the discrepancies, and that he was suspicious. It wasn't as though he was going along in happy ignorance only to be blindsided only as true!Sam came barging through the door.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I was worried that the body swap would really be Lucifer's way in. Glad that didn't happen.

Did anyone else go to a Weird Science place when Gary was in bed, on the phone with the blond floppy haired guy (ok, so his name wasn't Wyatt), and waiting for TEH SEX.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Next week looks awesome.

This week felt like filler. Meh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The beginning had me cringing, but the kids being in on it together and being malevolent worked for me. Lucifer could have won right then. I wasn't expecting the stakes to go high. I worried it would be an hour of shenanigans.

Good god, JP is Sasquatch indeed. Man's massive.

I think they've had them helping people from their past two eps a row, so not normal hunting, plus now they're aware they're on the most wanted list of a wide network of devoted amateurs. It ratcheted up tension I hope they keep.

That part I liked. I hope the writers do more with that.

Because books.

Lucifer could have won right then.

See, I don't think so. Isn't the soul, the person what needs to give consent? Lucifer can find his way into Sam's head, into his dreams -- I don't think that has a lot to do with the meat suit. I think he'd sense that Sam wasn't really in there.

The demon sounded like she was happy about getting the meat suit in the bargain, and that she had to talk him into saying yes to something.

Doesn't make sense with needing Sam's rage, though.

Also weirdness--does Dean want to settle down now, or does he want it for Sam?
