I think it's pretty much text that Dean was wrong in what he told Sam. Sam must know that, because Dean looked hella desperate as he said it.
While I am all about the codependent brothers riding off into the sunset together, this is the most I've panicked I've ever
Dean
at the prospect of it ending. Normally I associate that with Sam, and that Dean would have it end if he thought Sam could have a normal life (not that he thinks he'll get one). But tonight it looked like the shreds of Dean's sanity needed Sam pretending to be sane right at his side.
And while Dean needs to lie to himself, Sam is at least more self-aware for that. But he will lie for his brother's sanity.
So we didn't see anyone else talk to Dean's shrink? I'd initially only thought her last appearance was the hallucination, but she doesn't have any traction, does she?
Misha's minions have raised $25K for Haiti. Who knew?
that harrowing Daddy-issues talk was all a product of Dean's own mind.
I guess I must have missed the details of that conversation. I saw the hallucinatory shrink say "Tell me about your father" and then my dog started vomiting on the living room rug. So although the TV was turned on, my attention was split. Connor's stomach has no respect for the sanctity of Supernatural.
We didn't see the conversation, Morgana. It was just implied.

No, I don't think she talked to anyone. And I'm glad Wendy wasn't the wraith because when Dean leaped to that conclusion, I thought I was pretty sure that he had met the therapist before Wendy kissed him.
Since only Dean ever saw the shrink, I'm guessing she was a wraith-induced hallucination from the beginning.
Anne can tell you when Dean dropped his pants, I was utterly stunned into paralysis. Laughter was on a 30-second delay apparently.
I did think the shrink was suspiciously hot, but I was blaming Show instead of Dean. Makes total sense to be Dean.
"Pudding!" is going to be popping randomly into my head today, as well as the shot of his ankles.
"Pudding!" and "Boop!" for me.
I just read that SPN got picked up for season 6 officially, but I haven't seen a press release or anything on a site like Futon Critic that I actually trust.
Need to rewatch. I couldn't figure out WHO the wraith is - and am I the only one who went to an SGA place when they started talking wraith?
ION, Cinema Spy says season 6 is a go.
As far as the resolution of the episode goes, I'm always a bit disappointed when Dean has to outright rescue Sam. I like it better when they work together or Sam rescues Dean. Or even if the other hunter had had a hand in it.
