Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

Oh, the funny is gone and now it's upsetting. DEAN. SAM.
I know! Poor babies are going CRAXY!
I'm losing track. So most of the facility is overrun by these wraiths? Or are Sam and Dean still just hallucinating them everywhere they turn?
I'm impressed that Dean still manages to rock the manliner even in the institution. And that it doesn't smudge!
Have we ever seen JP do the one single man tear, yet? That scene really coulda used one.
It almost gave me one, I tell you what. SAMMMMMMMY. And god, Dean, if anyone ever needed therapy, baby, it's you.
That was excellent. SHOW!
You would have thought that after everything they've gone through, Dean would have realized that telling Sam to just ignore his feelings is not the way to deal with his angst. It's not like they have time to stop and let Sam start therapy or anything, but for God's sake he could sit down for a cup of coffee or a beer or two and just let Sam talk for once without telling him to shut up. Sam's been trying to talk to him for two seasons, Dean's been shutting him down, and bad things have been the result. At the very least, I would expect migraines and bleeding ulcers.
edited to add:
And god, Dean, if anyone ever needed therapy, baby, it's you.
Oh yeah. Ditto.
But ... that's not the way Dean deals with his angst. And Dean's rule is pretty much Dean's way or the highway.
I do think Dean telling Sam to put a lid on things was a bad, bad idea, especially given how Lucifer has told Sam that he rather likes Sam's anger and plans to use it.
That said, I also can understand why Dean was so frantic to shut things down, especially now. Thanks to the wraith's interference, Dean got to see a whole lot of what's bothering him without any of his usual filters in place.
Hell, if Dean's personal psychiatrist was a figment of his wraith-amplified imagination from the get-go, that harrowing Daddy-issues talk was all a product of Dean's own mind.
In short, I think Dean was so eager to slam the lid down on what got uncovered that he wanted Sam to do the same.
