I rewatched A Very Supernatural Christmas last night, and I'd forgotten how much I loved that episode. Apart from Dean needing too much explanation, that is.
The brotherly dynamics are great. Most of the time I'm a DeanGirl, but my heart was breaking for Sam in this one, in both the present and the past. The actor that played Wee!Sam did a great job with heartbreak. And JP did a great job being reduced to a kid who's going to lose his big brother, and who decides to man up, even if not all the way up to saying "I love you."
Isn't that Wee!Sam actor good?
Apparently, he takes the role very seriously and has discussion with JP and JA about Sam and how Sam would react to things.
Sam's gas station Christmas nearly broke me.
And wee!Sam is wonderful.

P-C, thanks for the answer last night, over there in that other place

That youthful diligence is absolutely adorable.
I also came across a piece of trivia that JP spiked the eggnog he gave JA. I wish I'd known that before I deleted the ep off my TiVo. I'd like to have watched the scene again for his real reaction.
Really?! Heh. I remember he did seem to feel the burn.
Bless YouTube and the fans thereon.
You know what I'd like for season 6? A return to the less Judeo-Christian. I'd love to know what the rest of the supernatural world thought about this particular apocalypse, and if it had any fallout there.
Oh Mark Sheppard. How are you on every show I love?
Because everyone loves Mark Sheppard?
It's very logical and rational.
