Because books.

At the latest con (Chicago, I guess?) Jensen actually jokes about not being able to get other work, and how hard it is. If I can find the clip, I'll post it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I dunno, I mean, O'Toole did Caligula. Some actors aren't picky, or else maybe have huge sucking cash flow issues.

The good scotch costs a lot, you know. Even if you buy it by the truckload.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

"What the hell did you do that for?"

"They forced me. They trundled a wheelbarrow full of money past my nose."

Because books.

I remember being fascinated by stories of the porno orgy that was Caligula as a kid. Somehow as an adult I've never gotten around to watching it.

JP *learned* to "paint" left-handed, because Kinkade is left-handed

Aw! How Method of him!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I recorded it, played it, and forgot to pay any attention to it. Oops.

Dean Winchester wins E Online's Alpha Male Madness. Beating Sam in the final bracket (is this how the season will end?) Sam had to beat Jack Bauer just to get that far. Dean beat Sayid.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Huh. I'm not sure I would call Dean an Alpha.

But if he had to kill all those guys to get to his brother he totally would. As would Sam. And then, maybe, he'd save the world.

But what if it came down to Sam vs the World.

Maybe he's the only one that gets to kill Sam, there on the last day. If Sam kills himself, he'll just have him brought back at a high price. Maybe the change he undergoes is to realise he has to do it, and the change Sam undergoes is to encourage him.

I'm suddenly very depressed by the idea of only one of them surviving, so I'm going through scenarios in my head...

Well, Sam did make Dean promise to kill him, back in Season two. Maybe he'll finally have to keep the the promise.
