I want God to be Missouri. They'd have to do a little bit of retcon juggling, but it would be so emotionally satisfying.
They seem to juggle continuity like other people juggle geese so I don't see why they shouldn't jump at this.

How about if they have Lucifer and Michael take over their respective hosts, and have God manifest first as Jeffrey Dean Morgan and then as Samantha Farris? "Clearly the distant father approach is not working with you two, so how about we try the ass-kicking mother figure and see if I can smack some sense into you?"

Much as I love Missouri, and I really do, her as God sort of smacks of the Oracle in The Matrix to me.
