I'm also thinking that one Thursday (or something) a watch-n-post of a few key episodes might be fun. I do want to see if anything jumps out on a re-watch of "Mystery Spot," for example.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I have to say, Jared and Gen being engaged, too, would strike me as a little odd. They haven't known each other very long.
I'm going to a wedding in a couple of hours where the couple's known each other for less time. I dunno. They've known each other for over a year at this point.
I think it's just that he was in that relationship with Sandy for soooo long, and it took him a long time to propose, and then BOOM, it was over.
That said, I think Gen's adorable, and they're adorable together. Jensen and Danneel just seem like they have that really solid foundation.
I have to admit, even though I think Jared and Gen are adorable together, if they were people I knew (and I in no way mean to suggest I do know them), and I heard they got engaged in these circumstances, I would be thinking "But this is the rebound".
Doesn't mean I would be right, but I would be thinking it.
I really liked the episode! I thought the twist with the mother-ghost actually keeping the kid-ghosts in check was neat. Although that doesn't explain why she beat up "Dean." Who looked really familiar...he was Kevin's older brother in Home Alone !
Most of the jokes were pretty predictable and expected for this sort of episode, but they were still amusing. And I, too, liked the "Because that's what Sam and Dean would do" moment.
I just discovered that the actress who plays Becky was in Ginger Snaps !
Oh, ahahaha! I heard the names as "Barnes and Damien," but it's actually "Barnes and Demian," which makes them TWoP shout-outs! That's two for Cindy, now.
Although that doesn't explain why she beat up "Dean."
I didn't think she did. I interpreted that as the boys doing it, and she came in to make them stop.
What did she do to "Dean" in the graveyard? She didn't actually hurt him, but it looked and sounded threatening.
The graveyard I took as any ghost not wanting to be salted/burned before completing his/her business. She knew that without her there, the boys would no longer be under her control.
I interpreted her actions as driven by discipline. She disciplined "Sam" for being naughty and I interpreted her threat in the graveyard as also disciplining the naughty. I think she was a threat much like the boys, but with the added bonus of being able to keep them in line.

THAT'S why she looked so familiar! Yay!
