Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I continue to opine that the brothers' success will be a subversion of what these fates have in store for them. A great escape. Even if they end up ensuited at some point, I don't see it going the way any of the big players want. We watch to see them flout these things.

And to see Sam get punched in the groin. I wonder if realised the answer to the question was Ruby.

God, the CSI: Miami riff was painful. JP looked like Jim Carrey doing David Caruso.

But the simple best was Dean's mancrush on Dr. Sexy.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Speight absolutely sold the idea of Trickster-as-Gabriel. I can't help but hope that what Dean said to him at the end sinks in and that Gabriel does wind up standing up to his family. For one thing, story-wise, that could be kind of awesome. For another, I'd love to see the character come back for an episode.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

the simple best was Dean's mancrush on Dr. Sexy.

Wow did he get absolutely flustered!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Speight absolutely sold the idea of Trickster-as-Gabriel.

Yeah, at first I was thrown and WTFed by the retcon, but it ended up working. And for some reason I am buying the whole "Oh, it's been the plan all along and we've been watching you" bit here more than I did on BSG.

I almost forwarded past the herpes commercial, but then I saw that there was a CW logo, so I was curious to see whether it was some sort of network-sponsored thing. I didn't expect it to be part of the show. Sam-as-KITT cracked me up.

Also, I was pleased to hear a song I like on the show! That rarely happens. (Anya Marina, "Move You," the song playing after the credits when Dean is watching Dr. Sexy, M.D.)

Exactly.

Also, what ita said about Dean's mancrush. Heh.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

As much as I liked seeing joking evidence that Dean might not be entirely at the 0 end of the Kinsey scale, I think Sam as the Impala is my all-time favorite moment on the show.

The "ow" and "Should I honk?" were frigging priceless.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

"Dean, that's...really uncomfortable."

Slam!

OMG, someone on my LJ flist just mentioned that the first word out of Kitt's...speaker was usually the driver's name:

"Michael."

I've been so focused on Sam as Kitt, I hadn't remembered that detail.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ooh, that's a neat point, Beverly.

Also, now that we've seen that existing players in the SPNverse may actually be known members of the Abrahamic rogues gallery, who else might be an angel? Or even God?

If it weren't for the fact that Dean's amulet didn't get suspiciously warm in "Home," Missouri Mosely would be an interesting candidate for God.
