I totally understand. Christmas and birthday clutter gifts growing exponentially. But I still promise to throw it away at home.
Although I might keep the Dalek.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

I gave Alan Tudyk a get well card once (outside of Spamalot), you know, after Wash had died. He looked me straight in the eyes and gave me the nicest thanks. Don't know if he ever actually looked at it, but it made me laugh. It felt nice to give a little nothing-something when everyone else was clamouring for something from him. Don't care if he tossed it without looking, but then all I did was spend a dollar fifty on a card and doodle a tombstone and some daisies.
One more day!
Although I might keep the Dalek.
I would totally keep the Dalek.
Juliebird, that was a hilarious and awesome thing to do!
I LOVE that stor Juliebird.
I once had an amazing experience giving Marlo Thomas a card in NYC.
Which, Juliebird, leads me to a question. Are you on facebook with the same name, because, if so, we have a mutual friend who is tangentially related to my Marlo story.
I don't think I have a facebook account, bonny.
What's the Marlo story?
It's Supernatural Day!
Woo hoo!
SHOW!
I think the CW promo people have finally clued in that the way to sell this series is to show Jensen Ackles being a goofball.
Heh.
SHOW! TONIGHT!
I am a little bit excited.
Juliebird, it's long and involves hilarious visual effects, but the short of it is that I got to be a big damn hero by using my Leverage-esque con skills to turn a bad situation (stolen theatre tickets) into a win (a hug from Marlo) for a good friend of mine who has worshipped her (like unto the BVM) all his life. We got to see the show without tickets (or seats) and spent time with MT in her dressing room afterwards. My friend was in heaven.
I should say that we, the Great Peace March, had a Donahue show to ourselves the previous day and Marlo's dresser greeted us a the door wearing a GPM button. Score!
