We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Slow starting. It may hit its stride in a couple more episodes. It was uneven, lots of exposition in the wrong places, not enough in others. I like Slater, but the premise is sort of meh. I'm sticking with it another three-four eps before I decide whether or not to take it off the dvr.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I fell asleep during it. I think discussion of it probably belongs in the Procedural thread.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Isn't it sort of Cold Case Redux?

Except random people, not actual FBI agents. Or that's what I picked up in the 20 minutes I caught last night. (Though I swear to god I've seen something before with that premise too.)

I haven't fallen for a procedural in a long time, unless you count Fringe. Which is sort of bizzaro!procedural.

and that's all because of Walter, right? i mean...i like Joshua Jackson as much as the next person, but he hasn't had a whole lot to do on that show. severely underused if you ask me.
