Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

(It's kinda sad I *knew* for certain which fic Jen meant.)

Because books.

All I can think of is ... well, key word = dry-aged.

::crawls off to throw up a little::

That story *still* limits my grocery shopping. I ... just can't buy meat that explains how it was aged.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

lalala, I can't hear you.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

::gag::

and I haven't even read the story, just "meat" and "aged"

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Was there a noise?

That is the sound of ultimate suffering. Fic readers make it now...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

That was the post AHBL ghastly resurrection via incestuous necrophilia story, right?

(Note: I seem to recall the author's notes stating that the author was three sheets to the wind at the time and it seemed like a good idea to write it out.)

(Or maybe my brain has inserted that author's note while redacting the name of the author as some way of protecting her from everyone I made read it?)

Your brain was protecting you, babe. And you should give it a cookie for that. Because the actual warnings... failed to warn for how horrific it was.

Warning: Winchester love, angst, a bit of bloodplay and necrophilia. But it's in a good way!! Believe me =)

Nooooooooooooooooooo! A million fangirls crying out in horror.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

What is Devour? Is it like when the Somervillains watched Suspicious River because it had CKR in it (and Molly Parker, and Michael Shanks, and Don Davis -- it seemed like such a good idea!) and ended up with emotional trauma?

Or was that just me?
