[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
So far for me the least effective bits are Sam's instant purge from the demon blood (losing out on some great angst possibilities) and Dean just happening to have a card from John (not to mention John having that kind of relic). But the rest of it has been surprisingly low-angst, compared to what I expected.

I'm happy enough to be sidestepping the ACTUAL CAR CRASH possibilities that I'm okay with handwaving that.

Meg!!! Yes!!!
NOOOO
I have no problem with the insta-purge. In fact, the angels may not have had to do anything. His addiction and withdrawal symptoms were all probably inflicted upon him for the express purpose of bringing him to that final confrontation with Lilith. Once she and the power were gone, no more need for them.
BOBBY!!!!!!
Have we ever seen anyone resist a demonic possession from the inside before? Or been given any hint it was even possible?
I think John broke through a few times in that cabin when the YED was possessing him (when he asked Sam to shoot him with the Colt).
