Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

So. Much. Fun!

I'll re-watch the last few eps with BOOZE and my coterie of ex-students who don't have cable this Friday. I can't wait till they see this one!

The looks on D/S faces throughout were GLORIOUS.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I was unfortunately doing other things and unable to watch with the one hundred percent attention this deserved, because I think this is the only meta episode I've ever liked. I'll be rewatching as soon as possible.

(And oh yes, count me in as another who is so very happy that the writers gave us back the Samulet. Finally.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That was flat out adorable.

If I were a singalong person....

(Did they skip the alien and tentacles, you think, or we just didn't get to see it?)

Loved it. Need to watch it again.

While I doubt anyone that age knows who Gallagher is, the payoff on that was great.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Loved the Addams Family homage with the shocked audience covered in goo.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I was giggling through the "Sastiel? What about Samstiel?" And also, "Hugh Jackman got cast off Oklahoma." "You were a tech." "Shut up." and the Andrew Floyd Webber (which JA tweeted was an ad lib). They sure packed a lot of stuff into that little high school play. Did anybody catch the "Harvelle's" sign leaned up against the wall? The best they could do for Ellen, Jo, and Ash, but at least it was mentioned.

I didn't think I'd say this about any episode in the last few seasons, but I need to watch this again. I *want* to watch this again!

Because books.

Nicely done, Suzi! Nicely done!

I'm actually rewatching now -- before I went to bed last night, I was like, "Was there any mention of pie?!"

Bonus long shot of the bowlegs was a thing of beauty.

The girl who played Marie was so great. And I don't know why it seemed more noticeable in this episode than the others, but Jared looks so skinny! You could tell he was still favoring that shoulder, too.

The girl who played Marie was so great.

She really was -- a star in the making! I hope. She was fantastic. Enjoyed tech girl, too. (Wow, that suddenly jerked me back to the PK Tech Girl ep from Farscape.)

Because books.

Yes, Maeve was also fantastic! And so tiny! The scene when Marie is hyperventilating and Dean has to reassure Maeve before he goes over to Marie, he practically had to stoop down.

The girl who played Mary has a great voice. On rewatch, "Carry On" made me choke up again.
