"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

They realized it had girl cooties. Once you realize a show has girl cooties, you have to stop watching. I think it's in the Rulebook for Dudes.

Isn't that what happened to the Blade TV series? Too many female fans and not enough males on a network that was supposed to be for men?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I should have done this a week ago, because we've lost the lovely Abaddon. But if she'd won like she wanted to, how could next season be anything but a war against demons. Hell, even if she didn't win, even if she'd just survived.

So: Castiel, Gadreel, Crowley, Gavin, Jody, Metatron -- am I missing anyone?

Kittens on who bites it? I'm having unfounded Castiel feels. What if Gadreel comes to the light side and he's their angel next season? And then Sam falls in love with him because he can't ignore their ultimate intimacy, and the fact that he was good in the end?

I truly want Metatron dead. Or, hey, depowered and mortal. That could be okay. I wonder if they could use Gadreel to get the angel tablet and ghost!Kevin can come back and try read it. I don't honestly care what happens to Gavin, but I'm curious about him going back in time (and killing all the Campbells).

I'd love a dead Crowley. In fact, I'd love if Sheppard took a hiatus from everything. I'm very tired of him.

More seriously, I think Crowley and Jody will survive, Gadreel dies saving the boys, Castiel dies fighting Metatron, and whatevs.

But if Kevin came back into the story, maybe Mamma Tran could kill Crowley? That would be sweet.

Problems from the Mark? How does he get it off? Who can it be trusted with? I'm assuming Cain could have destroyed it if he'd wanted. I'm also curious about what he meant by "worthy". A worthy warrior? Bloodthirsty savage.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Is there a new prophet somewhere or does Kevin's ghostliness confuse that?

SPN spin-off is dead like a dead thing; not picked up.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

the reaction to the spin-off ep was so bad, they canceled all plans.

I didn't see the episode with Cain, but if they're keeping with the Biblical story of God putting the mark on him as an example/warning to others, I doubt anyone else would be able to do away with it. Heck, it might have only been transferable because the Winchesters seem to be His favorite entertainment.

I still don't get what made Abaddon so unkillable as to require the big MacGuffin hunt. A really old, powerful demon tough enough to shrug off Ruby's knife, sure, but it seems to me that the now-ubiquitous angelic weapons and the other offensive powers of their wielders should have been able to do the trick. For that matter, I doubt she's one of the 5 beings Lucifer referred to as being able to survive the Colt - which probably wouldn't have been any harder to find than the First Blade and comes without the creepy bloodlust bonus.

Metatron had the prophet switch turned off earlier in the season.

Thanks, Marcia. I totally didn't catch that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If the guys had any idea where the Colt was wouldn't they have pursued it by now? It's kind of the equivalent of powered up Castiel--you have to keep it offscreen or their job becomes too easy plus the fight scenes disappear. It has no downside anymore. But the First Blade does, so either they can't keep it around, or there's a plot device about learning to handle the Mark.

Storywise, it makes sense to me.
