You guys I sent Jensen a letter today!
I work for an insurance company and I send out form letters to people when they aren't getting the insurance they apply for. they come up automatically when I hit "get work".
So, I look up and the name on the computer and there's his name! I think, "there can't be 2 can there?". Most of the app is restricted but I did see an email from the agent that the client was an actor and would be on vacation in Europe. The home address was in Malibu…so I wrote down his middle name and birthday, because I thought anything more would be a violation of his privacy and unethical.
I just checked imdb and it was him! I almost tried to sneak a reference to Dean on the letter, but that would have been unprofessional.
BTW, he didn't get the insurance because the paperwork wasn't completed. Not for any bad reason.
I wrote a letter to Jensen today!
Awesome, quester! Small world.
I also once ran across the file for Trent Reznor's insurance. I totally freaked out!
Yeah, I know. I'd love for someone to decide that 10 is it, full stop, and throw everything into making it a really excellent farewell season.
Count me in as having mixed feelings. I want this show to have a proper ending and not just fizzle out into something I don't care about any more.
Which is sort of the way I feel right now.
Except I irrationally love the Winchesters like real people, so I don't want to abandon them, you know? I don't think I could bear not to watch, but I don't want to hate the season the way I hated most of Buffy S7.
Yeah, I am conflicted. It's not the show I fell so hard for but I'd like them to have a good end and not just wither. Maybe they can commit to a good end.
If not, I hope people involved onscreen and on set are making bank.
