"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

You're good. But I'm Crowley.

Sam, Dean and Castiel may have won best bromance, but Dean and Crowley are giving them a run for their money.

Because books.

And Sam and Castiel! Teaching him to hug back!

I need to rewatch to get the story of Cain straight -- there was too much family activity going on here during that. Also hoping it doesn't have horrible consequences for Dean, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm confused, too, Amy.

On another note, where the season has been somewhat meh, I'm really getting jazzed.

Me, too. I'm hoping that lowpoint a few episodes ago was just a misstep.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I liked the idea of Cain, and dig him as we see him today, but his backstory didn't really work for me. Loved Sam and Castiel, though.

I really liked that ep, which makes me happy, because I'd been kind of not into it so far this season. It helps that I lurve the actor who plays Cain, and it sounds like he'll be back. He was straight up scary powerful but understated about it. Like. It was an interesting story, and I like that Crowley was manipulating things the whole time.

Also enjoyed Sam and Cas. The hug back time was cute.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I liked the twist on the Cain & Abel origin story (Dear Supernatural, you're making it increasingly hard to fake appropriate reactions to Abrahamic Lore. See also: angels). I disliked the Because Twue Wov. Can we shelf that trope? Preferably along with all use of clips of the restaurant scene from When Harry Met Sally.

I had moments of "Lassie!" but I like what he did with the part.

Dear Dean Winchester, Even if you are going to agree anyway, when someone tells you there are strings attached, find out what those strings are. That way, you cut down on the unpleasant surprises later. Further, don't keep promising to kill Crowley. He's the best of all possible alternatives for leadership of Hell (unless you want to go all Sandman and put Cas in charge).

I liked Cas's epiphany. And I liked the two teams, as far as mixing things up a bit.

Yes, that too.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I was just wandering around IMDB, the way you do, and found this description for the last episode:

While looking for an item to help the recovery of Sam, Dean and Castiel come across a case involving a monster kidnapping first born children. Meanwhile, Crowley looks up the aid of an old friend named Cain to help fight Abaddon and her forces.

Only 2 sentences, and yet so wrong in so many ways.
