I just noticed that Archie's posting date came and went for DCBB. Damn the man.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Yes Amy, they signed for 9 and 10 at the same time, contingent on pickup. Of course now there's buzz the network may want to keep going after 10. I can't imagine what a grind that would be, with the Js having homes and families in LA and Austin. I think ten years is enough, personally.
What they've both said they'd love to do is SPN movies. Work three months, done. And have the time to do it right, without the time constaints of a series. And in a movie Jared says he'd get to use big boy words instead of things like "You rotten snail!"
Honestly, I think they should just write the dialog the characters would use and then bleep it out like they did in that Ghostfacers episode. It was hilarious, and felt right.
The story that irritated me was a cute piece, with ginjoint!Dean and flyboy!Cas, but it's the first time I've read Dean screwing Cas because he enjoyed a plane flight so much. It read like ignorance, since it was played totally straight.
I'm reading another Prohibition!Destiel, and this is what Dean is driving: [link] I feel tempted to work out what he's wearing, but not this month.
I am nervous about tonight. I haven't seen anything that indicates Cas is in the episode yet, so my worst case scenario is that Ezekiel gets his way unquestioned. He's creepy to me now. Castiel thought he knew a lot of things about angels, so I don't credit his word in the least here.
For story reasons, I don't want them to follow the boys and Cas separately, but Misha's signed for a certain number of episodes, so there's no way to tell which episodes he'll be in or not, and that has to be justified. "Off at remedial human school" is a much more palatable reason than "Dean fell for Zeke's ultimatum because he can't risk not"--I don't expect Dean to not pick Sam, but I do hope he will at least think about the implications and choose him in the most sensible ways.
If Ezekiel has his own game plan, can he really either take Sam and bolt or leave Sam to die? He might be bluffing.
DEAN...

I'm not sure Ezekiel is evil yet, although I don't know what his deal is. I don't think Dean is going to abandon Cas completely, in any event.
I'm over the fans. This is not an interactive game, people. Just because you like a thing does not entitle you to have a say in its direction. When you make your own thing, you can write it/script it/draw it/sing it/dance it however you want.
(I'm especially disgusted because fans of the Divergent trilogy have been similarly freaking out over the events of the third book.)
I'm not sure Ezekiel is evil yet, although I don't know what his deal is.
His ultimatum to Dean does not pass the sniff test. Yes, he gets how important Sam is to Dean, he's leveraging that, and is it that he can't imagine importance of an angel? I just don't like "me or him" at the best of times, and Dean is so easily manipulated on that front.
I hope, like the fixit fics I can stomach, Dean gives him an excellent golden parachute, but my real hope of Dean talking through it with Cas and them realising it doesn't have to be that way (I don't think this will trigger Dean's "there must be another way" reflex--it's too early in the season, and this is perfect to install/maintain angst between him and the last person he hadn't gotten messed up with in three eps yet) and that it's a weird request. Because it totes is.
There's Zeke stuff we don't know, and I don't trust secrets.
Just because you like a thing does not entitle you to have a say in its direction.
But they were led on! Somewhere in the contract it said Cas was averse to pussy! And now they've reneged!
It's pretty disgusting. This is not my home team.
I don't think Ezekiel not wanting to risk his existence via proximity to Cas is necessarily a sign of evil. Dude did go crazy and slaughter half the heavenly host, after all, and the life expectancy of other angels around him tends to drop from eons to between now and the next commercial break. Just because Dean privileges concern for Cas above everything except the wellbeing of his own brother doesn't mean that allies are obligated to.
Yeah, I don't know if an angel tapped into angel radio who's esconced in a highly secure bunker saying "Oh noes, they'll find this place no one could find for decades if he's around!" and following up with "I'm taking your brother if you keep your boyfriend" is not intended to tingle your Spidey sense, and having Cas vouch for him is a pretty good vote against him, given his track record.
If he does have a nefarious plan, which was on the table before the ultimatum, getting away from the only other angel on Dean's side would be exactly what he'd want to do.
If he decides to explain it himself to Cas, then I will be swayed. As is, totally consistent with someone who wanted to sneak into the secret hideaway, and is isolating the vulnerable parties from anyone who is more likely to catch him.
Charlie can't die. Right? RIGHT?!
