Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bah. I want evil Zeke. Where's your sense of unrepentant tragedy?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I could easily buy an evil Ezekiel. Angels sharing names with prophets, that can't be entirely good.

And it's the one that was assumed into heaven that's used as rationale for why Chuck isn't god, despite the writers saying he is (which makes the opener to season five plain WEIRD--check it out).

Oh, thanks! I knew there was something I wanted to go back and watch with that in mind but I wasn't sure what.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think Dean used to deny his fatherly instincts out of habit, but since Ben I think he's really afraid to get that close again. He treats Charlie and Kevin and Cas much more as siblings.

Charlie and Kevin, for sure. Cas... gets less mothering from him than a brother would. (I do use that word intentionally, because he did effectively serve as Sam's mom, and it shows in how he brothers.)

Whenever there's a teen hunter, I totally get the protective motherly vibe from him. It's adorable.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I prefer the idea of an angel who means well doing really creepy/problematic things out of lack of understanding about the human condition.

Because books.

I don't want an evil Ezekiel at all. Evil angels outstrip decent angels by a mile at this point -- I'd like to see an unconflicted good angel for once.

Cas... gets less mothering from him than a brother would.

In the beginning, Cas was very much "other" in a more commanding, awe-inspiring way, though. And he fucked with Dean a little bit in the beginning, too -- a couple of the early S4 eps are Cas "testing" Dean or manipulating him. So I don't think the caretaking instinct was there for Dean until later, when they already had lots of other history.

He's totally got a more Benny relationship with him. It'll be interesting to see how the dynamic changes now that Cas is graceless.

Because books.

I have my own feelings about Benny. I think their relationship was way more obviously ho-yay from the start than Dean's with Cas, but it was also a lot less complicated.

My fanon is they were totally fuck buddies in Purgatory.

Dean! It's not too late for you to get help! Not that I'm judging or anything.
