I am reading the sweetest story about octopus person Castiel. The characterisation of Cas has nothing to do with canon, but he's about handsized, aquatic, and had tentacles instead of legs and fins where wings would go. AND HE'S ADORABLE living in a tank in Dean's apartment. I'm kind of embarrassed by how much I enjoy the daily (short!) updates. Poor Cassie! Thinks he's a monster. In a totally fanon fashion.

There's octo-Cas art floating across my dashboard periodically, but I think this story is actually just four tentacles, so they aren't related.
Damn, I'm tempted. But the list of stories I'm too chicken to randomly draw for gets longer and longer (there's a baby angel I even started talking to the author about, and bailed...ita !, behave), and these AUs are even harder to draw for.
Fins for wings, though! Cutie pie.

I'm a little afraid to look at my Google Drive right now.
In another hour, I should be officially done with Big Bang season. I need to wait to hear that my author was able to post to the comm. She has never posted a fic anywhere before, and she started off with the SPN Big Bang. Brave, brave woman... Anyhow, she wasn't even sure how to set up a masterpost, so I wound up coaching her through that.
On the other hand, she provided me with some wonderful reference photos to work from.
