(Pacific Rim could make a brilliant D/C story, except I'd never make it past the tags. Actually, it was a bit distracting--the Becket relationship might be a waste of Winchesters, although deeply evocative, I'd also love to see Hansen play out Winchester style.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I love that Jared wore a NASA shirt and Jensen had a Batman shirt. Nerds are HOT!!
Well, for values of nerd who are also leading men of CW Network shows...
I fucking hate "planted pilots". Why not just create the Balthazar and Loki show, keep them off SPN, and they will basically never require TFW, since they would be set in the past.
I forgot about that! I read it yesterday -- very interesting.
I already got the feeling that at least three of the episodes this past season were backdoor pilots: Twentysomething Wolf; Bell, Book, and Jim Crow Laws; and the culmination of Tim's dream, Needy Multi-Ethnic Street Kids.
I loved Bitten. I think I'm the only one.
They did say they would introduce a new character, otherwise I would have bet on a spinoff for Charlie.
I can see where they might be hoarding anyone that's still alive (and if Felicia keeps with the vagina comments, that's either a permanent job or a death next episode) on the show and want to give the show to someone new, but look how much fandom likes the old people! Also I don't want any of them back...
I enjoyed Bitten too, but we're definitely in the fandom minority there. The other two episodes you obliquely refer to, Matt, aren't ringing bells for me, though.
