I have SO MANY ideas for fic this summer, but they're mostly about Castiel and Crowley. Which feels wrong, except for how Castiel is really Dean/Castiel, so that's nice.

Not just SPN fic. I run into so many Britishisms in Teen Wolf stories these days, it's left me wondering what new thing American teenagers have started doing for fun in lieu of writing fanfiction.

Shaving the sides of their heads, wearing a lot of eyeliner, loudly telling everyone who will listen that they're the only people cool enough to be goth, and that everyone else are babybats and poseurs? Then complaining that there's nothing to dooooo because they aren't old enough to drive anywhere? Oh wait, that must be only my little corner of tumblr.

Someone "liked" a random SPN off topic post I made on IO9 a year ago (Jilli, don't), and in the process of trying to find out if I'd made this image myself, I stumbled upon fashion inspired by the show. I do note at least one canon error, but I like the sense of whimsy with which she approaches the proposition.

I'm still not sure if I made that as the need arose or not, though.

In the annals of "Doesn't the show hurt you enough?": [link] It is lovely, though, but never a commitment I could make, even as I roll my eyes at the people who are still complaining about what season 6 forced them to feel. You haven't really quit the show if the wound is still raw.

Okay, turns out that the girlcastiel tag has a decent amount of her art, unattributed. I understand that's very annoying. But the weirdest thing I saw at the tag was this [link] I think the bottom left image is a pretty distinctive niche.

Anyway...back to lettie...shit, this mural is mindblowing: [link] -- she's so talented, even if I don't care much for her subject matter/interpretation, she seems to be a bottomless fount of picture ideas and amazing execution.

But have you noticed she never seems to draw TFW as men? Even the "adult" pictures of them seem to be early 20s at the latest. Maybe she's like...that other artist whose name is escaping me...daggomus prime! who doesn't like drawing the characters looking like the actors, but still--dag drew men. It's weird wondering if that's how she sees (rather, saw, since she stopped watching a way back and now wants to stop drawing--copy pics if you want 'em, since she nuked most of her Batman stuff when she left that fandom) the show, or what she wants out of the show, or what. Fascinating.
