Because books.

I watched the first episode-ish of Revolution and was really bored, too. I haven't watched it since.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've kept watching Revolution because it's nice to have something in the DVR that I can put on while I'm tidying up or doing laundry so that if I miss a bunch of dialog and/or action I don't really care.

Also, I just read a story written in S2 where Dean is covered in tattoos. It's like, did you see the ghost truck episode, where he was shirtless with Cassie? Not tattooed, folks.

In the realm of takes on the characters with bonus self-lubricating asses that lead to fertile wombs, a few extra tattoos probably aren't beyond the pale.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I see a difference between the factors you hinge the A in AU on, offshoots of those key factors, and just randomly made up stuff.

I read a recent D/C where Sam was Dean's cousin, not brother. Why, you ask? No freaking idea. They still spend typical amounts of time together, but nothing related to relatives. Sat there like a grain of sand in your eye, thinking grumpily of narrative developments that necessitate this, but no.

Those changes I don't dig, and there also are the ones that say the author was clear not paying attention.

In a hunt for reference pictures I stumbled on this: [link] Now I wonder how many other actors we aren't often seeing from head to toe, and who knows what they're sporting?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, predictably, people are taking the J2 way too seriously: [link] I haven't seen that in the wild, thankfully. Just references to it.

Speaking of the crazy: Speak the truth, an exhaustive J2 archive

I love this:

This archive is done with the utmost respect for both parties

Yes, of course. Yet calling them cowards and/or liars, but respectfully? Because if they are bumping uglies and don't want to talk about it (former supported titillation, latter THEIR RIGHT) how is an entire "debunking" archive possibly respectful.

Anyway--once I got to the bit about the dogs, well. I know what Colin told me, and I take his word over theirs so I quit reading, since the purported inside source they base a lot of this on disagrees with Colin's conversations with Jared.

I'm afraid to ask, but curiosity is getting the better of me...

Because books.

I'm reading it and I can feel the craxy getting on me.

Suffice it to say, what he said to the press/fans about his dogs wasn't the truth. It was something much sadder, broke Jared's pet-loving heart, but if anyone tries to tell you they know the inside track and they stick even generally closely to the news about his dogs, they are bullshitting.

Because books.

I had to stop reading. These people make the Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories look like nursery rhymes. It's really a little frightening.
