There was so much emphasis on that scene, and the child who knew he wasn't clean, and now saying he's being purified. I really like the idea, too, because it could lead to some interesting consequences.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
It's Sam's birthday! We should have celebrated with Salad Shakers!
I wonder how old he is now, given the missing years and deaths, etc. How could you ever figure it out?
But they weren't "decimated" until more current timelines, right?
You forget which side of decimated I'm on--Lucifer falling is all I need. Gabriel bolting is gravy. But he seemed to think they were all currently in the game and working against each other, which hasn't been the case for yonks, and depends on whether you think Lucifer was considered an active player after he fell. It's either up to his fall or up to Gabe's disappearance.
I'm thinking that Lucifer fell/was cast out but had a certain amount of freedom (at least enough to start the ball rolling on the demon assembly line with Lilith, if not numerous other ancient demons), and then at some later point got locked down completely in the Cage. Metatron might have gone into hiding during that inbetween period.
I came out of this episode with is a strong desire to feed Kevin soup. Lots and lots of soup.
That is not what I wanted to put in his mouth. He was awesome from end to end of this episode--most people did pretty well, but he was the best. Sam can have soup, Kevin can have any of my body parts he desires.
Well, I'd prefer him fed and rested before having a tactile translation of the word of God.
Ahem.
He was so, so awesome.
I wonder at what point in human history, God supposedly disappeared? Post New Testament or before?
Doesn't it have to be post New Testament, since Jesus happened on his watch? So at least post the start, if not post the end.
I am irritated at the SPN-J2 big bang. It's clearly not particularly a bang for me, since there were six D/C stories, approx to 72 J2 ones, but if they could just have posted the time the claims would be open, then I could have set my alarm clock appropriately--since I now see that the time on their page is not converted to my local time (and why would it be? LJ keeps talking to me in French) so I don't actually know when they started. But by the time I woke up, 40 claims had already been made.
The Judeo-Christian mythology on this show is so far from anything I learned in Sunday school, I don't actually pay a lot of attention to it anymore. I was good with angels as soldiers/warriors, and a garrison and all that, but when Naomi and the heavenly CIA or whatever showed up, I stopped caring. It's all a little ridiculous now.
So ... I just ignore those parts! Because I'm still loving Sam and Dean, as usual.
