I don't watch any of those shows, so I'm going to watch anyway.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I have liked a couple of the eps Matt laments, Amy, so don't despair. Not that you were.
In particular, I liked the Warehouse13 one. And, heh, Community!
Matt, you forgot The X-Files, where Mulder entered the game, got in trouble, and Scully had to go in and save his ass.
but the trailer was misleading. Would love Charlie as a Woman if Letters.
Awwwwww.
Who else recited the first paragraph of The Hobbit as Charlie read?

Weren't there two? I can't remember if that's also the one with the orbital laser blowing up the rogue AI's trailer or not.
I guess djinn-induced dreams are at least a fresher take on how to get into the scenario.
Well, I loved it. Charlie's such a great character. Dean Winchester totally wins father of the year, too.
Wan!Sam was such a woobie, I just wanted to tuck him into bed. No, not that way. Not right now, anyway.
Weird that a preview for a Supernatural episode only told some of the story. That NEVER happens. And I do feel it would be doing a disservice to this one to say that's what it was about, as opposed to that being something that happened during it.
But, seriously, my notes (I won't write the IO9 recap today, anyway) are mostly orgasms. Like
- HOW MANY ORGASMS DEAN???
- MORE ORGASMS, CHARLIE?
- SAM ORGASMS
- LEFTOVER DEAN ORGASM
I'm not sure how I thought that would help me write a recap, but hey.
If Castiel is in the written canon, doesn't that mean that Chuck published later than we thought? That was my most coherent question, and it wasn't much--I spent the end thinking "you haven't licensed, PJ has the rights now, please don't ...In a hole in the ground..."

I enjoyed it. I like Charlie, I liked all the banter. I loved the brotherly closeness. But the episode itself did feel kind of placeholderish... it didn't move anything forward. We saw Sam being weak, but we already knew that. The guys decided to pursue the prophet, but we already knew they needed the third Trial information. The Charlie backstory information was interesting in an academic sort of way, but not necessary to to the overall story arc. (Unless they're going to add her to the cast. Which would be.... neat.)
