Joyce: And what did you do tonight? Dawn: Irritated Giles. I'm beginning to get why Buffy likes it so much.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yah, I was being a smartass.

Because books.

Oh! Sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Looking at this [link] --do we have two of that kind of death in Show? One with the black guy who was also going to shoot himself in the Simon Says episode?

Aw, baby girl.

I'm not following you.

The surprise (large!) vehicle slam from offscreen death. Doesn't the older, black guy they try to save in Simon Said end up dying that way, just like that guy from...is that My Heart Will Go On? I'm making a superlist in my head of my favourite occurrences (so far: Final Destination, Wonderfalls, and SPN (x2 if I'm not hallucinating).

Oh, right. For some reason I read "Simon Says" as "Croatoan," because ... uh. Yes, the doctor steps in front of a bus.

I have a weakness for those deaths. Not sure why--maybe the shame in the initial laugh response?

Have I mentioned how much I love West (and by extension his father)? This dance class pic is so mightily adorable. And puts me in mind of Misha saying straight guys were dumb--if they knew what they were doing they'd be storming SPN conventions, because the only guys there were gay or with their significant others--it's just a festival of opportunity.

GO WEST. GET YOUR TODDLER MAC ON.

My sister is amusing the fuck out of me. Not only did she think she saw Wincest in Bloody Mary, here's one of her comments on Skin:

Shapeshifter Dean: Me? I'm a freak. And sooner or later, everyone's gonna leave me.

Me: Not Castiel! He'll always be there for you! Sort of, mostly! I think - I mean, I don't know - I haven't watched your future yet.

I'm so proud...

If anyone wants to know what irony looks like, my sister's favourite episode so far is Route 666.
