Yep, that's it. He's not real. He's sprung fully formed from the fangirl collective.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Or maybe he's Sera Gamble's golem?
Cutiepie!
I had a thought about a loose end from this season--the weapon Uriel used to murder those who wouldn't join the pro-Lucifer faction. Was it still in Anna's possession? If so, does Zacharaiah have it now? Given that it can kill angels (or even former angels), I can't help but think that the Holy Shiv may play the same role in S5 that the Colt and Ruby's knife did in previous seasons.
Random thought from the finale: when Ruby told Sam he didn't need the feather to fly, Dumbo, did she mean that all that blood drinking was pure placebo effect and the power he was using was truly his own?

That's the way I took it, -t.
MISHA IS A CUTIEHEAD.
-t and Amy, that's how I understood it.
And Misha IS a cutiehead. I saw an old CSI:NY last weekend and heard this husky voice and thought it sounded familiar and, yes, it was him. He's cuter when he's a little scruffy.
I was unclear if it meant the blood was meaningless placebo, or if the she was talking about the path he chose that put him in the position, or a little of both.
That's a good question. I think Azazel's blood had to have had some effect--otherwise, why go to the trouble? It's not as if a six month old baby is going to be in a position to choose to drink the blood.
Maybe it was just a ceremonial sealing of a covenant made with the mother. But if Ruby somehow knew that Sam thought--or encouraged him to think--the demon blood had done something to him, she could have played on that. By choosing to drink (what he thought) was increasing his power, he opened himself up to using it more and more the way Ava and Jake did. I'm not sure how that explains the withdrawal symptoms, though. Was it all just psychological?
So, does my knife theory seem plausible? Good odds of it showing up in S5?
Given Jake and Ava didn't need to drink demon blood to boost their powers, I'd say Ruby's blood was a very ineffective, very addictive "feather". I would also submit the reason she used it was because Sam was mentally blocked, knowing way too much about the supernatural and source of his own powers (as opposed to Jake and Ava) to act on them independently. Because then he really would be a monster.
Then again, Lucifer told Azazel to "find" a special child. He didn't say to "make" a special child.
One has to wonder how he could see the future and what was it about Mary's bloodline (and the others) that made her, and eventually Sam, his favorite.

Oh, I have no doubt we're going to see the angel knife/sword. I really hope Anna was smart enough to hide it away. When she was human and heard the angels' voices, she spoke of conflicts among the angels. Surely, with her grace back she is more aware of angel happenings. If she is not killed (as Castiel/Uriel said was the punishment), it will be interesting to see if she was sent to "Bible Camp", too, and what has become of her. And the sword/knife.
Lucifer was an angel. What do you want to bet it plays a role in killing Lucifer?
