Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm assuming they're not coming to his office in any official capacity--that's just where he happened to be when they wanted to complain their baby was ugly?

Then again, you'll get lots of opportunities to tell people you don't think your kid's cute. You don't have to sit on that.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I recall my Sociology professor talking about a couple that looked like Barbie and Ken coming to his office in distress about how ugly their baby was.

Actually, it was in an official capacity. At the time he was doing counseling, and they were so disturbed by their not-cherubic lizard baby that they booked an appointment.

Art Crawl!!!

Wow.

That's kind of stunning. Although, I suppose it's better for them to seek help than to take it out on the baby.

I was flipping through a quite pleasant photoset--none of the people involved are homely, but that one just about did me an injury.
