Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

How cute is this? I was just looking at the deviant art page of an artist whose X Men work I'd liked, and this was in his favourites, and it's cracking me up to reconcile.

Reminds me of the Wee John, The Messiah series by our own Fay

Because books.

A fan was invited to Jared and Genevieve's party.

Glad she had a great time, though tagging along to a celebrity's family get-together where I'd know almost no one would be a socially awkward hell to me no matter who the celebrity was.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

He got to go to the F1 race??????? I am so jealous.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jealous of Jared?

Okay, so that's his real dining room in his real house? With moose antlers and candelabras? I'm suddenly reminded of the alpha vamp's home, and not in the most Martha Stewart of ways.

I can see getting a photo with either of the Padalecki's (I wouldn't, but that's my issue), but isn't taking pictures during the dinner/drinks kinda weird?

Doesn't lessen my envy one bit, though. Damn random shit.

I'd imagine that since they invited over his relatives that it happened to be a celebrity, but that wasn't the point of the thing. Famous people have to (well, should, at least every now and again, for their mental health) have dinner with other people. It shouldn't have to be more awkward than them not being celebrities (aka Colin does that to me sometimes, but sadly not with HIM).

Absolutely.

Oh, I shot a Winchester today. It was very exciting. Those things feel like guns.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Oh, I shot a Winchester today.
I read that a different way for a moment. I was all "Nooooo!" until I correctly parsed the sentence.

Well, I was amusing myself a lot in my head while shooting the Winchester. It was a 45 and damn, that is a real gun.

Is F1 hard to get in to watch?

There hasn't been an F1 race in the US past 2007 and it's wicked expensive to get a ticket. Very exclusive.

I'd hurt people I actually liked to get just an general admission ticket. Actual access and I'd flay them. It's that good.
