For reasons that completely escape me (actually, I was looking for the shot of Dean being uncomfortable in front of the other mothers during The Kids Are All Right) I just got stuck going through this [link] and grinning like a dope.

So--since I'm thinking about naked Winchesters--do you think that the distinction between Sam and Dean's naked styles is just how the guys work their sex scenes (for some reason I kinda think of that as more personal because of individual attitudes and boundaries) or is it a group choice that Sam is all "flip it and tap it" while Dean is slow lover, entwining fingers and shit. Because the weekend these women are talking about sounds not much like the Titanic Dean sex we've seen so far.

I think it probably has more to do with the actors than the characters, but that's just my gut feeling. Heart surprised me, because Sam is usually bordering on shy, very gentle, so I sort of assume that approach to the scene was Jared. And then in the later scenes it makes sense -- Sam may be a gentleman, but not in bed. And Robo!Sam is all about pleasure.

Jensen has always struck me as shyer, which I think is borne out by the fact that not a lot of his love scenes since have been that graphic or that long (since the first one, I mean). I also love that it's so often the woman on top of Dean -- I do think he's a sub down to his subby little bones.

Dean sub - yep. Though, have we seen many of his hookups? I can only think of one off hand (the chick that got pregnant and had the baby overnight). The rest have been more meaningful - Cassie, Anna, Lisa (not the bendy weekend).

There was the girl(s) in The Magnificent Seven, and at least one other girl in S1 or S2 -- when Sam comes back to the car and Dean is in the passenger seat asleep with the sunglasses on, he was out the night before.

I know there have been hookups - just trying to remember what we have seen of them. The main sexytimes I can think of aren't the one offs.

Oh, me either. I don't think we see a lot of the hooking up he alludes to.

I feel a need to count and compare Dean and Sam's sex scenes now. Poor me. But I'll take one for the team.

There were the sisters he was romping with during Season 3.

That's what I meant by "girl(s)" in The Magnificent Seven. We only see one through the window, but he refers to "The twins".

Although we didn't see it, according to Sam, Valentine's Day is Dean's "Unattached Drifter Christmas", so I guess we can say canonically that Dean releases "the Kraken" every February 14th. (When he's not dead or in Purgatory.)
