The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

AO3 needs a notes function so I can know not to go back to certain authors.

Seconded. There are authors in various fandoms where I always have a twinge of recognition, and I click on the story... only to recall why I recognize the name and that it wasn't for a good reason.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wanna see something pretty? No? Okay, fine: [link]

Because books.

The Sam .gif next to it completes the whole thing. "That damn brother of mine ..."

"There he goes...being all pretty again. We can't get him to stop, you know?"

And then Sam takes off his shirt casually and everyone faints.

Because books.

Exactly.

I have sent in, I believe, a Block Author request to their functionality requests. The more people request a feature, the more likely it is to show up.

I'd prefer notes to block--how much detail did you go into? I mean, do you want their stories to not show up at all? How would you ever know it's time to check if they're better yet? Some authors have turned into people I'd read, but that's after a good six months to a year of my getting scared and making panicky notes next to their name.

Also, I want to put notes saying "Good pr0n" or "best with AUs, not canon" and that sort of stuff.

I really really want to be able to subscribe to a WIP. You can't do that, right? You can get alerts for an author, and maybe a series, but not a story, last I looked.

I want to block authors whose interpretation of the text causes me to rage blackout. It's a thing.

Art Crawl!!!

Do we have any Gishweshers this year?

I saw the list and it is even more craxy than last year.

Also - there are 15,000 participants this year.
