Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And in case you missed the wee x, you need to watch the footage [link] because it's ten times cuter. Jared is also fucking hysterical.

That's the problem, isn't it? You put them up on stage 20 odd times a year, plus that many episodes, and they're ridiculously charismatic and good looking, and how can this be a one way thing? Look how they talk to the fans! All the fans! And they do photo ops, and respond to tweets, and say that we're the reason the show goes on...

So why won't they take some time out of their vacation day to pose for pictures and let me hold them in the airport? Are you saying they're working when they do all that stuff in the first paragraph? Might they be not sincere? Or at least not making personal connections? They have an on and an off setting? No...say it ain't so....

Jesus, people. Creepy as fuck out there.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

agreed, ita. the guy who plays Benny responded to a tweet yesterday or the day before from one of the nuts who's trying to get Jared kicked off the show so her precious Destiel 'ship isn't threatened. he pretty well put her in her place.

Someone thinks they're going to get Jared kicked off the show? For real? Where does all the crazy come from, seriously?

Don't read me as a wingnut, but I can see trying to drum up support for tossing Misha, but JARED???? How do you watch the show? With your eyes closed for half of it chanting "LALALALALA"? What do you do when your boy re-iterates his One True Priority?

Man, I just read a pretty long fic that hit a number of my...guilty pleasure buttons. AU, friends to lovers, including first time, lots of time spent on "friends" and lots of time spent on "lovers". As many of these go, there's an initial...something that prompts them getting together--a crisis, a revelation, a *something*. And then later on, there's some sort of crisis that forces them to face their feelings properly, prove how they feel, plight their troth, whatever. It had those beats.

But--two things. Firstly--assholey abandony John. Admittedly he's chasing down Mary's killer instead of being drunk and abusive, but he's left the kids in Bobby's lap, and there are always arguments when he comes back, and it's hurting poor D:eanie-weenie's feelings. Horrifically, he doesn't like Cas either. So that's the non whitefonted part. Sadly, most of us have read that story more than once, swap out Castiel for whoever floats your boat. The other point that bothered me, that was random and unneccesary was the crisis that gets them to true up their feelings--the arrival of Castiel's identical twin, Cassiel. WHYOHWHYOHWHY? There's a brief flash of twincest, totally minor and goes nowhere (except in Dean's head), but...I mean, I've reread the fic and stopped right at the point where Cass shows up, and Dean acts like a douche because he feels like he's being replaced (Bobby raised TFW), since it's always been just them three, and he thought they were clear on some things--they love each other, they are their entire family, and Dean and Cas' priority is/was/will always be Sam. It just felt so...stage. Yoinks.
