Kevin is amazing.

Clever young prophet.

The vet's not the woman Sam was seeing, right? Because I took an instant and intense dislike to her, and hope we're not going to be seeing more of her.

I'm kind of thinking it is.

So Dean sneaking away to make secret phone calls to his new BFF the vampire is in no way supposed to be a mirror to Sam sneaking away to make secret phone calls to his BFF Ruby the demon, right?

Someone refresh my memory -- did Dean spend time looking for Sam when he fell into Hell, or did he go right to - I can't remember her name -- and her son right away? Because that's how I remembered it, so I was kind of waiting for Sam to, I don't know, remind him of that?

Kevin was AWESOME.

This buddy thing with the vamp who hitched a ride out of Purgatory ... in Dean's arm, ew... is intriguing.

Amelia! Aw. Shout out to Who. Love.

What fate, Cas?

I like that even though they were having issues with each other, there was still some fun. Like no dogs in the car, and the burger and all. At first, I was fearing a split by the end of the ep and not looking forward to it.

My memory may be faulty, but I think he went to Bobby's for a brief amount of time (although that may be something I picked up from a fic somewhere) and then headed to her place. He did tell Sam that he spent a lot of time researching ways to get him back, though.

But seriously, where was Sam supposed to look? Just get in the car and aimlessly drive, which he did? Other than that, he had no leads, and no one to go to. The abandonment of Kevin is harder to overlook.

Oh, OK. I mean, from Dean's perspective, then I guess I am less confused. Yeah, and Sam owned that Dean was right about Kevin, so that's fair. Given Sam's history of what he does when he loses Dean, I find it hard to believe he didn't try at all, but I guess that's what show was saying. I supposed they'll delve into that further.

Because books.

I think he went to Bobby's for a brief amount of time

I think it was only a matter of days before he went to Lisa. We never saw him researching, either, just heard about it. (Not that I don't believe him, because that's Dean.)

The demon/safety school remark was made of pure awesome, as is Kevin. And wow, he looks good with his hair shorter.

I'm distressed by Dean's new boyfriend, and whatever deal they made. I'm also a little skeptical about how Benny got Dean's phone number, but it was so good to see WINCHESTERS I'm going to handwave it.

I completely sympathize with Sam. I mean, I get why Dean would be angry -- I would be, too, if I were him -- but I also completely understand Sam being out of ideas and just exhausted by the whole thing. And I think seeing his reaction to Kevin's messages was punishment enough -- even Dean seemed to let it go after that.

Why didn't Dean's hair grow? I was looking forward to shaggy hair and a mountain man beard. Also, Dean feral and grimy is a lot hotter than he should be.

Poor Kevin's girlfriend's roommate, as well as Kevin's girlfriend. That startled me when she went black-eyed.

We're having another plumbing issue so I missed the stuff with Sam and the vet, but I'll go back and watch. I'm assuming she was the woman in the bed he left at the beginning, because it was the same dog, right? So at first I thought maybe he was just heading up to the cabin for actual hunting, a weekend alone or something. But then he told Dean there was a girl "and then there wasn't," so that's unclear.

OH! Was someone watching as Sam drove away from the house in the beginning? It couldn't have been Dean, right? Maybe Benny? Or who?

Sam with the wounded dog was almost too heartbreaking to bear. Boy, did he ever get his soul back, the big noodle.

Things I want:

Sam and Dean to be okay, at least with each other.

Cas to be not dead. And for Dean and Benny not to have killed him or something, please.

Less Crowley, honestly. I'm tired of him. (And where did he get the new improved powers?)

Biggest thing I want: THE REST OF THE SEASON, RIGHT NOW. God, I missed them.
