Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have basically realised I have 2 basic SPN rituals--it's either whisky or pie (rarely both). And maybe "Carry On Wayward Son" on repeat if it's a season finale.

I feel more like whisky than pie today, which isn't truly a bad thing--we know there's return from Purgatory involved, and that Purgatory probably wasn't all "Confetti! It's a parade!"

Because books.

I have no whiskey or pie. But I do have beer, I think. Maybe I could manage some peanut M&Ms in Dean's honor.

I think I'll have a cheeseburger in Dean's honor, possibly without the bun and cheese unless I go buy those. And a salad for Sam.

Ha. Someone posted this in the runup frenzy, and when asked? Didn't know what was happening or what episode it is.

COME ON, PEEPS. I forget this all the time, but that's because it's not a plot-advancing action.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I must remember to stop off for pie tonight if it looks like I'm going to be getting off work in time to watch live.

I can't remember if I already have whisky. And if I do, is it Oban? Is having an extra bottle of Oban bad?

I'm frozen in indecision. I should have garlic fries to loosen up my circuits.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I saw a preview and the boys look so handsome. How can I forget exactly how handsome they are? Jared's hair is bugging me a bit (what's new?) but they both look so good. I do feel guilty for objectifying them but it's so rare that tv leads just keep improving especially by season eight.

Okay, with that shallowness out of the way, I'm so giddy for the opening and the start of the season.

WHEE!!!

This is a remarkably dumb (Peekaboo! I see you!) promo image, but we're almost there. Vanishingly small use for promo images.

Because books.

Tiny little Dean face! So weird, but it's actually a much artsier (more conceptual maybe?) poster than the CW usually comes up with. The copy line up top is a little distressing, though.
